All Trees Sold
May 05, 2013
We have reached our target of trees scheduled for distribution in Spring 2013 so online orders are now shut down...thank you to everyone who ordered a tree and has agreed to work with us as we monitor their growth in the future.
For those unable to get a tree...please stay in touch as we expand the program with a bigger and wider tree distribution next year. We're also continuing our Citizen Forester training for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer steward of the urban forest. And we're still looking at hosting some tree-mendous events later this year.

Tree Care Workshop
Feb 27, 2013
Please join us this upcoming Saturday, March 2 from 1 - 3 PM. We will have David Tracey with us, an environmental designer and tree specialist, to demonstrate tree pruning and spring tree care techniques. We will learn about preparing and amending the soil with natural and organic products to ensure fruit trees grow healthy and are fruitful.
The workshop will be at our teaching orchard at 2732 Horley Street. This workshop is free of charge, and will be useful to anyone with a tree in their yard, or is interested in planting one. Feel free to bring friends, and a pair of garden gloves if you have one!
